Frequently asked questions
You’ve got questions?
Good. I’ve got answers.
-
I currently offer online therapy to individuals and couples across NJ.
-
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I’ll listen to your story, learn about what brings you to therapy, and together we’ll explore what you’d like to gain from our work. You don’t need to have everything figured out - just showing up is the first step.
-
The length of therapy is different for everyone. Some people find relief in just a few sessions, while others prefer ongoing support as they move through life changes. We’ll check in regularly to make sure therapy is meeting your needs and adjust the pace as we go.
-
Both. We’ll take time for deep reflection, but you’ll also leave with practical tools you can use between sessions. My approach blends conversation with practical strategies so you feel supported in daily life, not just in the therapy room.
-
Many clients come to me after previous therapy experiences that didn’t fully meet their needs. What makes my approach unique is the combination of connection, support through transitions, whole-person healing, and practical tools in your season of life. We’ll focus on what matters most to you and tailor the process to fit your life.
-
A Good Faith Estimate (GFE) is a document that shows you the expected cost of your therapy sessions before you start. It’s designed to give you transparency and help you plan financially. You’ll receive a GFE outlining session fees, any anticipated costs, and the estimated total - so you can know exactly what to expect and can make informed decisions about your care.

I am an out-of-network provider. This means I do not bill your insurance directly. I am happy to provide you with paperwork to submit to your insurance for reimbursement, or to submit the paperwork for you if your plan offers out-of-network benefits.
Being out-of-network can actually be beneficial for many clients:
You have more flexibility in scheduling and session length without restrictions set by insurance companies.
You can work confidently and without needing a diagnosis code that insurers often require.
You may receive partial reimbursement through your insurance, and I can provide paperwork or submit it for you to make that process easy.
In short, being out-of-network allows your therapy to focus fully on your needs and goals, rather than insurance limitations, while still giving you the option to use out-of-network benefits if you choose.
